InterfaithFamily/Your Community

We’re here because sometimes you just need to talk to someone. Someone who has been through the same experience. Someone who can help sort out what it means to be in an interfaith family.

InterfaithFamily is a Jewish non-profit dedicated to empowering people in interfaith relationships — individuals, couples, families and their children — to engage in Jewish life and make Jewish choices, and encourages Jewish communities to welcome them. You can learn more about us here.

We are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with our online resources and personal stories from other interfaith couples. But we know that sometimes you want to meet with others in person. That’s why we are on the ground in 7 different communities around the country.

in your community and how to connect

We offer:

  • Social gatherings for interfaith couples and families.
  • A chance to learn about and celebrate holidays together.
  • Opportunities for seriously dating, engaged, or newly married couples to talk about how they want to bring religious traditions into their lives together.
  • One-on-one consultations with an InterfaithFamily rabbi who can help answer your questions.
  • Wedding tips.
  • Parenting and grandparenting advice.
  • Referrals to other local organizations that welcome interfaith couples and families.

All geared toward you and the community you live in.

The director in each community is a rabbi who works exclusively with interfaith couples and families. We have helped thousands of people connect more deeply with their partner and find ways to engage in Jewish life that are meaningful for them. We’re there to officiate weddings and baby-namings, or to talk when things get tough.

For Jewish professionals, we offer advice and professional development to help make your organization more inclusive of interfaith families.

And if we’re not yet in your neck of the woods, you can still connect with us online or talk to us about coming to your community.
